    Default Shooting concerts

just wondering if anybody can give me advice on recording from the mixing deck at a concert? Basically I'm going to shoot a concert using a single camera - Sony V1 HD camera - on a tripod and would like to know how to record the best sound. Thanks

Just plug a digital recorder of some description (Mini-disk, DAT recorder) into the mixing desks Output. Just make sure you adjust the recording levels during the sound check, or it could go belly up during the real thing.

Alternatives include getting a wireless transmitter and receiver kit, or just a plain old xlr conection between the cam and mix desk (if you're close enough, and it's safe to use)
