    Default Encore - Animated Menu

Hey guys. Long-time reader, first time i've felt the need to post.

I'm trying to animate the main menu on a DVD i'm putting together. Ideally i'd like the menu buttons to animate in (most likely slide in from the right) and arrange themselves onscreen, then remain there waiting to be clicked. is this possible?

Not in Encore alone it isn't.

Basically to get any sort of animation like that you will need to create a movie clip for it and import that as an Encore asset.

    Do it somethin like this...

Save your menu as a photoshop file.
Import that into Premiere Pro and preserv the layers.
Keyframe the current positions of the button layers at the end of the timeline you want to create.
Move tothe start of the clip and move the button layers off screen.

When you play the movie the buttons will animate into place.

Export that movie and import it into Encore and apply it as a 'transition' clip before your menu.
