Hi, this is my first post here and I'm not sure if I'm in the right place for Premiere Elements 3.0. Please direct me where to go if I'm not.
I have been using Windows Movie Maker for my video projects and have outgrown the program and decided to try Adobe Premiere Elements 3.0. Everything was great going while making my movie short except for crashes I kept getting at a certain point. Don't remember exactly what I was doing when ever it crashed but, my problem is currently this:
-I can't export it to anything (mpeg 1 or 2, .wmv, .avi, etc.). I keep getting a message stating that Adobe Premiere Elements 3.0 did not return a video frame.
-I can't hit enter to render it either. It just gives me a message stating that it can't compile the movie.
-Can't even do the DVD output.
I have Premiere Pro 2.0 and I decided to give that a try and open the project in that but apparently I read that you can't do that.
I've read the most relevant results in typing in the message I'm getting on Google but, nothing I tried helps and most stuff seemed to be about Elements 4.0 or Pro 2.0.
I uninstalled Pro 2.0 in case there was a problem with both being on the computer and unistalled Elements 3.0 and reinstalled. Still no fix.
I've added the Windows XP hotfix-KB886716 patch.
I did the Elements 3.0.2. update.
Can somebody please help me figure out what the heck is wrong? I just can't find any info to help. This is a Halloween short that is past due now.
