Default The russians want my satellite (I am not Joking)

Well I took the time to create my very first model of a space satellite in 3D Studio Max. There are still things I plan to do with it, but this is the result of 9 hours work.

    Here is a video

Well the Russians saw the video and emailed me because they want me to make similar footage for a Russian News programme and they want my satellite animation to be used in the opening scene. All I need to do is put their network on the solar panels and i even get credited for the animation at the end of the show, how cool is that?

Great looking video but you need to look at the lighting angle.

I assume the source of light would be the sun, with some reflection from the earth. Parts of the earth and the satellite are lit without a light source or at least a realistic one.

Without playing myself not sure how easy it is to tweak. Have fun though.
