    Unhappy 16x9 format problem - VideoStudio 11

Hey friends, I hope someone has an idea how to correct this problem.

I am trying to capture a video shot on a Sony Digital Handycam in 16x9 format using my VideoStudio 11 program. The problem is that every time I have captured the video the program crams the video's picture into a 4:3 format, even though the file shows it as a 16x9 format.

I have no problems with VideoStudio 11 editing 16x9 format video from MY Sony Handycam which uses a hardrive to record. I simply bring the video into the program and edit away, everything staying in the 16x9 format just fine. Why is it converting a 16x9 video into this other format?

I tried to convert the captured video using other programs, but the file has black "letter-boxing on the sides of the video file. It makes it impossible to "stretch" the viewing area to the correct 16x9 format.

I am sorry to have troubled anyone reading this post.

I have solved the problem by moving from my desktop computer to my laptop. For some reason my Desktop computer does not function as it should. !
