Thread: Video Studio 7 won't leave C: drive alone

Default Video Studio 7 won't leave C: drive alone

I have a C:drive of 10Gb which is 80% full and a d:drive of 20GB which i wish to dedicate to all video editing duties.
Even if I install Video Studio 7 on D: drive it keeps creating conversion files under My documents on the C:drive which then runs out of space. I cannot get it to use the D:drive for this purpose and eventually I had to re-build a working system on the 20GB drive to work around the problem!
I can specify where disk images are to be saved but not where it tries to create its temporary convert file.
    Anyone know a fix?

I am a Newbie so this response is a bit sloppy. I looked under Capture, Edit and Sharing as well as all locations under the File menu and searched out every place a pathway was shown and changed the paths to the D: drive. It seemed to keep all the activity on the D: drive. Good luck.
