Default Sony XDCAM,which editing suite to buy ?

I'm thinking of buying a Sony XDCAM EX (PMW-EX1) and need some advice on what editing suite to use/buy.I need something that's suitable for events/weddings,that sort of thing as i want to get into videography as a part-time or even full time job.I've been using Pinnacle Studio 10 & 11 for the past few years whilst doing plenty of home movies/amateur stuff,i find Pinnacle Studio really easy to use so would like something with that sort of user interface, something which includes a burning to dvd function, basically a suite that i can use from start to finish.I'm using a pc,not a mac.Have a budget of up to £500 for the right suite,I've tried Sony Vegas 8 pro, can't get my head round it,(yet),i'm still persevering with the trial.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Sony Vegas 8 (comes with DVD Authoring) is geared for XDCAM as it has the facilities and fits your budget
You can down load a demo if you wish to try before you buy.
