Thread: Best choice for multimedia?

    Question Best choice for multimedia?

Hi everyone, I知 new here and this is my first post.

I知 hoping that one of you more knowledgeable users will be able to provide me with a little helpful advice.

First I値l start by saying my experience with video editing is very limited. What I知 looking to do is put together a multimedia presentation, containing, a picture slide show, video files and multiple layered sound. I want it to look fairly professional, so I知 looking for a feature packed application that does all of the above.

Does anyone have any good recommendations?

Macromedia Dreamweaver or Macromedia Flash and depending on where you want to show your presentation you might get away with Powerpoint.

    Thanks for the reply Nikosony.

I didn't realise you could edit video with the Macromedia suite?

Basically I want to put together a story board, with pictures, text, and video to be posted online at video post websites such as youtube.

You can't do video editing in Dreamweaver or Flash, they are for your final presentation, you'll have to get a video editing program first to do that. And when you are done, you import all your files into either Dreamweaver or Flash or Powerpoint. There's a list of video editing programs on this forum, check them out.
