Default Spinning batman logo type effect?

I'm trying to figure out how to do this, but google gives nothing useful at all and I've tried searching here too without much success.

As one of the random transitions on my podcast, I'd really like to parody the spinning batman logo (preferably with the sound effect as well). I use Kino for my editing, but I'd use anything to get this effect. Any ideas how it could be done?

I know you can do it with After Effects. As far as I know you'll need software that can use 3d space.

I'm trying to figure out whether the logo itself is supposed to spin, or whether it's just supposed to grow to fill the screen and then shrink again and what the background to it is.

you could make the logo in illustrator or photoshop and then bring into your editor, at that point zoom into and out of it. that would be easire then spinning it.

Use keyframes, one at the start of the sequence with the logo one size (100% or less) and then another keyframe at the end of the sequence with the SCALE much larger, 200 or 300%. Just make sure it doesn't start to pixelate or staircase.
