Thread: Rendering with the colour red...

  1. Question Rendering with the colour red...

Do any of you ever find when rendering a video file with red text, or red coloured graphics, that it seems pixelated or "blocky"? And if so, do you know WHY it does this? If I render uncompressed, it's always fine, but as soon as I apply the slightest bit of compression to a video, all red text and red coloured graphics look awful. OK, sure, I couild stop colouring stuff red, but I like red... :P

    I've had this too,

Have you played back your edited vid through a tv/monitor? As my business colours are black and red I render a lot of red text. It usually looks blocky on the cpu, but looks fine when played back from a dvd on a tv.
