Thread: DVD Menu question

    Default DVD Menu question

is there anyway in any adobe program to randomize a bunch of clips in the background of an encore menu??

    my idea is:

im a skateboarder and was thinking it would be cool to film a lot of single tricks on a skateboard, each clip being maybe 5 seconds long, and somehow put them in an adobe program and making it so it randomly chooses one of the 5 second clips to play, so when i use it as the dvd menu, when i insert the finished dvd, the menu starts and randomly plays each 5 second clip as the background menu..

hopefully you understand what i mean.

    thanks!

    NO.

Menu backgrounds are a single (ok, multi if you apply an end action!) video clip which you specify. You could always build a 'movie' of your clips in a random order and play that as the menu background though.

that would be random order for the clips when editing, but the end result in the menu would still be the exact same order of clips every time the menu starts.

thanks for your response, i guess my hopes were too high! haha
