    Default Video rotation problem

I took a video shot with my stills camera, and by mistake I took it with the camera in a vertical position. I tried to rotate it with VirtualDub, it went perfect, but the resultant video is 10 times larger than the original! instead of a 10MB file, I got a 100MB file! it was the same with every video file that I tried.
Any suggestion? maybe another software instead of VirtualDub?
