    Default 29 fps

    please help me
studio keeps capturing my dv (sony)in 29 fps
i have another dv ( canon) that it captures in 25
i want them both at the same frame rate so i can get 2 angles
iv tried changing the capture from pal to ntsc & back but the canon only does 25 & the sony only does 29 (the sony used to do 25 about a week ago as it is a pal camera )

Most consumer and prosumer camaras for that part use only a single format either NTSC (29.97) or PAL (25) and these can not be changed in camara. All is not lost though, You can change the fps with a converter. Personly I use After Effects, i'm sure there are other programs that can do this.

    Software Used:
TGV Edius 6, TGV ProCoder 3, DVD Lab Pro. 2

You can always tune the 29fps down a little to match the 25fps. When in make movie mode, you can choose the overall fps. If you set that to 25 or less, that would probably make it all match up.
