Default Right click - Edit in After Effects?

    Hey

I notice in Premiere Pro there is a right click option to Edit in Audition, is it possible to add this option for After Effects?

Currently I'm exporting, rendering & reimporting my cuts between Prem Pro & AE. Even though I'm fairly new to this editing, I get the feeling this is the long winded way round.

    Example:
If i've made say 10 cuts from 1 avi in Prem Pro, can I then add After effects to those 10 cuts individually without the need to export, render & reimport?

Hope that makes some sense, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

If you have CS production Premium you can make changes in one that reflect in the other and work back and forward that way.

If not, and if you have After effects 7 (perhaps only pro, I'm not sure) then you can open a premiere project file in after effects and continue to work on it from there. It doesn't have the same flexibility as the link in the bundled package but it can still save a lot of time and disc space.

To do this in AE just go to "import", "file" and select a premiere project file.

I can imagine it's probably available in AE CS3 aswell.

    David.
