Default After installing Nimo Codecs avi files won't play

I downloaded and installed the Nimo 50 builder for codecs. Now .avi files will play the audio, but the video portion is stuck on the first frame. I uninstalled the Nimo package and restarted the system but still have the same problem. What happened? Better yet, how can I fix it?

Default Problem fixed (but not solved)

I still have no idea what happened, but I did a system restore as I just happened to have a restore point set yesterday afternoon. The problem went away, but I have no idea what happened. The lesson is, always set a restore point before installing any sweeping software changes.

I would still love to know what went wrong.

In my opinion, you should re-install the former codec after uninstall the nimo codec. Maybe it will work.
