    Default new user help

hiya, im looking for advice on the best editing software for a new user to get, i tried the one that cae with camcorder but its a bit complex and ulead video and thats too complicated.

did i do it wrong by dumping the whole footage into one big file? or should i have done it in lots of small ones?

how do i split the big file?

    thanks

I always "dump" my videos in manageable chunks. Just makes it easier to edit from a logistical point of view.

For a nice cheap friendly editing app, try Pure Motion Edit Studio.
