Default Vegas 6.0 Film Effects Problem

When I use the 'film effects' FX on a clip and go to render it out it always looks over exposed. Is there any way to fix this issue?

Are you previewing the video on Preview, Good, or Best?

I've rendered at each quality and have gotten the same problem.

I've just tried using the default settings of that FX and it seems to work fine when I render. the 1908 preset seems to be the only one causing the issue of a white out when rendered.
