Thread: Is it possible to progressively move a frame (PiP) in Edit Studio?

Default Is it possible to progressively move a frame (PiP) in Edit Studio?

    Hello,
I've been making videos with Edit Studio 5 (Pure Motion) that uses PiP and I would like to know if it's possible (and how to) to move a video-frame progressively. What I mean by this: I can easily have a video-frame that takes the whole video, then all a sudden, have multiple of them on screen. What I want is to be able to have that full video-frame smoothly move and resize into a corner instead of being repositioned+resized immediately.
Kind of like this, if this image can help explain:

    Any help is much appreciated
    Regards

I would be very suprised if the position and scale parameters you adjust for doing this are not keyframeable.

What you want to achieve is not possible with Edit Studio 5, only Edit Studio Pro which is the version that supports 'video keyframes'. Keyframes are what you would need to use in this instance.

To be honest, I am surprised that Pure Motion have seemed to have gone pretty quiet. They were starting to build up a loyal user base. Even Marc here reviewed the product back in 2005 and gave it a good review.

That's my opinion. If you don't like it I have others

Software: Final Cut Studio 2 (FCP 6, Motion 3, Soundtrack Pro 2, Color, DVD Studio Pro 4, Compressor 3), Sonicfire Pro 4.5

I do have Pro (perhaps it's called 5 Pro or something?), I just found the "enable keyframing" option thanks to you guys, and it does work. Thank you very much!
