    Default SVCD on DVD

    Hi

I'm a newbie to DVD writing, so sorry if the following doesn't make sense.

I've been creating SVCD's on standard CDR's which contain about 30 mins of video.

Given that DRD r's can take nearly 7 times the amount of data that a CDR, is it possible to burn SVCD video (with menus etc) to DVD and therefore get over 3 hours of video on a DVD?

If so can I do this with Pinnacle 8, or do I need something else?

Also would I be right in saying that a DVDr will take 2 hours of DVD quality video?

As I said, I am a newbie so these might be very elementary questions.

    Thanks

    Alan C
