    Default WMM>VOB

    OK, so I've created my short film with windows movie maker, how do I convert it to the appropriate file type to burn it to a DVD ?

    You have to use 3rd party applications. Firstly you''ll need to convert the DV-AVI file you created in WMM to DVD compliant MPEG2, then you need to convert it to to the VOB/IFO structure you mentioned. If you a) don't want to spnd any money b) don't want any menus, you could use BBMpeg and Ifoedit.

    Once you've got your audio and video files, use ifoedit to create the author the DVD files: http://www.ifoedit.com/ - you can follow the guide hafway down this page: http://www.videoforums.co.uk/ftopic101.html
