Smile Fade in/out effect to videoclips, on the fly

    Hello all,
I have cropped my favorites clips from a concert roughly, not modifying video or audio data.
Now I would like to find a way for adding a fade in and out effect to those clips, without altering original video or audio stream, as it is of nice quality and I wouldn’t want to recompress it.
Is there a tool in the world that can add fade effects to videos, on the fly?
    Thanks a lot.
    The beat never fades!

None that I know of. If you add effects you will need to render it to the type of out put desired. As a general rule never render out untill you done.
