    Default Vegas 7 Rendering problem

Im new to vegas, so this might be a simple fix but ..

Im trying to create a basic lightsaber effect, ive created the whole movie and tried to render it as an AVI (also tried WMV)

Everytime i do this, it renders one frame of video, but renders every frame of the lightsaber animation. The frame it DOES render is the last frame of video.

Ive tried just rendering it without the saber animation, same problem. i also tried to do it with another peice of footage i know ive been able to export using windows movie maker.

I've tried a bunch of different settings and its still the same result.

I've been trying this for upwards of 2 hours now :(

    thanks for the reply
I think i figured it out not long after i wrote the original post
Seems it had something to do with the properties of the video being set to NTSC and not PAL
