Question Recreating NIN Music Video Visual

Hello, this is my 1st post here.

I am trying to recreate the music visualization from the Nine Inch Nails "Only" music video.

I was thinking of recording the oscilloscope on Windows Media Player with CamStudio while the song played. That way I get a nice place to start.

I'm pretty novice when it come to premiere. Can I edit the video so there are two identical green scopes playing one on top of the other, like the music videos?

Also is there a way I can make that fading and blurring effect?

Thanks a lot, and I hope I came to the right place!

you could just fraps the screen of windows media player effects and then crop and place that in your video.
freeformvideo.com: 3D Animated Menu\'s Transitions, Backgrounds or just about anything 3d all Animated.

or.... download itunes, it's free, and it's the software NIN are using on their powerbooks in the video.

Once again, Macs rock..... (As do NIN)
