    Angry Low quality

    Hey guys... im new at this video editing thing and its great...def my new obsession. i have an old sony hi8 and the quality really isnt that great.. when i edit in sony vegas the picture doesnt look too bad but when I render the file the picture and text is really dark and shady.... is there a setting?? i tried playing with brightness and contrast but didnt get any real results... am i missing something??

    A few questions are in order.

    1) How are you capturing, USB, Firewire?

    2) What is the inteded out put, dvd, web download, web stream ec...??

    3) What codec are you using, WMV, QT, Divx, Xvid ec...?

    4) Are you adding alot of effects, pans, zooms, text, Markers ec...??

    5) What bit rate are using, 256, 512, 1, 3 ???

    6) What version of vegas are you using, 6a, 6b, 6..., 7a, 7b,......7e??

    7) What field order, lower, upper, none(progressive)??

    I know this is a lot of questions but the more info the easier it is to help you.
