    Default downloading video/audio into Premiere

I bought a digital camera (Cannon Power Shot A75) with sound and video capture. I tried to bring the footage into Premiere and got an error " an unsupported compression format". How can I change the .AVI to a fomat that Premiere accepts.
    Regards,
    Disk Dog

You can run it through VirtualDub and output to DV AVI. If you don't have a DV codec, click this link: http://www.google.co.uk/search?sourc...sonic+dv+codec
