Premiere Pro Prefs file

Can anyone enlighten me as to whether there is a Premiere Pro Prefs file.....I have just started, and I am reading Adobe Premiere Pro Classroom in a Book which starts off by telling me to locate the prefs file, and how to put a short cut on the desktop so that I can delete the settings each time I finish a tutorial.....I cannot find the file where the book says or anywhere else. So I cannot progress in the Book - PLEASE HELP ! :(

The file is called "Adobe Premiere Pro Prefs". Do a search on your drive, or it is probably located at C:\Documents and Settings\User\Application Data\Adobe\Premiere Pro\7.0
