    Default Capturing a single frame

I have read the flippin' manual from cover to cover but can't work out how to capture a single frame (frame grab) in Premiere Pro 1.5

The way I'm doing it at the moment is to capture a few seconds of video, including the frame I want, and then opening the clip in photoshop, copying, pasting and saving as a jpeg. All very time-consuming.

Is there a way to do it directly in Premiere?

    Mr Mills?

Easy this one! My god you must be some sort of amatuer! lol.

    From memory...

File -> Export movie and then choose the 'frame' option from the pulldown. You'll get a .bmp file I think which you can open in any image editor of your choice.

If I;ve got the menu option wrong then I'll look it up tonight when I'm in front of it. Unless of course, someone else can help in the meantime.

What I want to do is have a still picture in a video. In other words put a still image on the timeline for a few seconds. I know how to do this bit.

I want to get this still image from a video (frame grab). Which is where I'm having difficulty :(

Don't forget that once you've exported your single frame, you'll probably need to de-interlace it. Easy step to miss or forget.
