    Default premiere beginner question

Hi I'm just trying to teach myself how to use Premiere, probably really easy question, what I want to do is be able to input a start and finish time (with the keyboard) rather than have to use the mouse to drag the clip to where I want it. I would find it a lot easier to just type in a start and finish time but I can't seem to find out where to put this in.

    Thanks

If you click on the blue timers under the preview screens above the timeline you will be able to type in the times you want. You have to type them in this format 00:00:00 including all of the digits and the":" even if they are 0.

I've never tried in PPro but in Aftre effects (7) there are places where you can type things like +7 into these frame counter boxes to move forward by 7 seconds/frames etc relative to the current position. might be worth a try in PPro
