    Red face zooming in vegas7

hey guys. i'm very new to vegas. i would like to zoom in and out of a corner in the video clip while maintaining enough video quality to read small print text. i've read the manual on keyframes and event pan/crop. i just need more help. any feedback will be greatly appreciated. thanks, swim

You can zoom as much as you like with the pan/crop but if the detail is not there you will not see it, you could try the unsharpen mask that may make the edges a bit sharper to bring it a bit more.

When I drag an Event to the Timeline, the Pan/Crop Icon automatically appears in the extreme RIGHT within the VIDEO section of that Event. It appears as a square with a line through it - similar to the "cropping" icon I have in my Graphics editor. If you CAN NOT see these icons then within VEGAS7 click on the Main-toolbar>>

GO > View > Event Buttons - make sure this view is ENGAGED

If I don't have this CHECKED/ENGAGED then I wont see the Icons.

    Cheers

    Grazie
