    Default Sony DCR-PC5E

    Is this camcorder able to connect to the computer. I bought it from a guy and it came today but from what i can find it only has two circle ports, one large and one small. Its a sony DCR-PC5E. The large who looks like the top left one in the link

    and the smaller one is one which looks like a whole for ear plugs

    I have a pc4 - the firewire port (used for tranferring video) is under a plastic cover on the front right hand side of the camera, it is labelled 'dvout', it is a rectangualr socket.

    Yes, it is hidden away, and that cover is stubborn to remove. Glad you found it.
