Default London Footage, sort of a preview to a film I'm making

I made this a while ago, these scenes are a quick impression of my visit to London a few weeks back. I'm using it as a preview to the full movie that I'm going to make in the near future, but the preview is more of an atmosphere thing I was trying to create here.

    Edited in Sony Vegas 6.

    Enjoy please.

    It's working over here?

Maybe it was just down for a short while.

Now I am no pro but I would think stock footage shoulndt be handheld and it should also be dry and uprocessed.

Many of those shots had clearly been heavily processed, but as I said I am no expert.

Yes, agreed. But I've still got the 'clean' stock footage on my harddrive to properly use it later, and I just wanted for now to do this spacey, atmospheric thing, which, I hope, worked somewhat.

I have to admit though, some shots were already made blurry while filming, I thought a couple of scenes would look better that way. However, I think in most cases it's indeed smarter to do those effects afterwards.

But what do you mean by handheld exactly?

Thanks for the comments so far.

Handheld - not on a tripod.

Alright, here's the constructive criticism bit:

First of all, some of the shots were really really great. A few that come to mind were the airport screens (especially the second one) and the big moving, uh, side scrolling, architecture looking thing.. well, it was big and tan and sidescrolling near the end. No idea what it was, but I loved it. Oh, and I really, really liked the music choice. What song/artist was that?

Criticism: A few of the scenes were pretty bland, or were held for too long. The opening cloud scene was especially too long for an opening scene, especially because it was shakey, you know? Had I just stumbled acrossed your video, I probably would have stopped watching at that point. I don't mean to be too harsh here, just trying to share some of the feedback I've received on my similar works. Next time, keep the scenes short and purposeful - the night traffic, for instance, felt like filler to me.

Hope you appreciate the feedback, I know it can be hard to get. Once again, over all, you did a great job, and I would watch it again. Keep it up!!!
