Default How can I back up my DVD Movies?

How can I back up my families DVD movies? Nero Express 6 OEM gives error message due to copy right.

I would like to make 1 back up so the kids can use it and we can keep the original put up so it doesn't get scrached or broken. It would also be nice to to if I could edit out all of the extras so I could get 2 or more movies to one DVD.

    Thank you for your help,
    Have a Great Day!

Plenty of info for DVD hackers can be found here:

    VideoHelp.com

Just be aware though that in most countries, contrary to popular belief, there is no legal entitlement to make backups of your DVDs.

Well, heres the catch, It is legal to back up movies you "own" but its illegal to break the copy protection. Most if not all movies that come out now are copy protected there for to do something that you have a right to do you will break the law, ( look up DMCA) there are companys like slysoft that operate in another country to get around us law though. So the simple answer is yes its illegal.
