    Default Video file

    Hi guys.

Ok ive been playing around with ulead video studio 8 and i have 1 question when it comes to burning the video to DVD i have 2 options

1 create a video compatible file.
    2 create video disc

If i select option 1 it renders the film and saves it as a mpeg 2 file to the HDD i can then do option 2 and use the mpeg2 file, however it renders the film again and then burns it to disc.

If i select option 2 (and skip option 1)it renders the film and then burns it to dvd.

So my question is, do i have to do option 1 before i do option 2 or is it ok just too use option 2?

Sorry if the above is a bit confusing!

    Thanks in advance

    Mike

it is fine to just use option 2. If it would be any different quality to option 1 then 2 then it would be better quality. option 1 is for making a file which can then be burnt to disc by another program if you wanted

The same thing goes for pinnacle studio 9. I used the option 1 so to speak to check if every thing was in order. But just using option 2 would have been better, 'cause I took twice the time to render
