    Default need help please read

hi im new to film making, real new and right now im just using windows movie maker for a project, its the only program i have right now and know how to use. In WMM you can't cut audio out from video and increase audio in sound unless you do so the entire video, but i want the sound in increase and decrease throughout the commercial i'm making for a project.

so i was wondering if there is any software or free program that i can put my video files through to just remove the sound, i want to remove all sound from a couple video files and i don't think i can do that with the old version of WMM i have and already know how to use, so i'd rather not switch to new software considering the deadline for the project, but im need software or a program that can remove all the sound from a video file

    thanks alot!!

You would need to put it in a program that has 2 tracks one for audio and 1 for video, Personaly I use Vegas (Full) down load the trial for 30 days, and just deleat the audio and re-render.

i'm not sure, it's been a while since i used WMM, but i believe you can just right-click the video on the timeline and select Mute audio. Hope that helps.
