    Default The rain in.......Thailand

I haven't posted a video on here for ages, but here goes. Most of my vids do have narrative, honest, but sometimes, 'wallpaper' is nice and soothing. Anyone need relaxing? I have a feeling some of you might

I sent a friend of mine about 30 seconds of raw film to give him the mood, and he created the music for me in Acid.

Just the ticket Gillian, really sets a good mood. Triffic music... nice job. Only one small niggle for me and that was the shakeyness of some of the shots... a tripod would have made it so much better I think. Good stuff tho, nonetheless. And a refreshing change from lightsabres and bmx bikes too!

Seemed more like Himalayan Gold to me...

    Ditto Turnmedia's comments.

    Edit: I'm nicely chilled now

I agree about the shaky shots, but I didn't pack a tripod, sadly, only a monopod, which has it's limitations. I asked for about 3 minutes of music and got 4, and it couldn't really be shortened, he'd have had to start again, and it didn't seem fair to ask, so I had to use some shots I'd rather have left out, or cut a bit tighter.

I'm not sure Thailand will be using this as a tourist promotional video....

I liked the it! The music matched the video well too. I've always wanted to see Thailand, and that certainly inspired me to make that a reality.

Constructive feedback: I think one of the reasons you're getting shake in your video is because most of your shots are zoomed. Try this: set up your shots without zooming at all, and if you must zoom, use a tripod or set the camera on a stable object. When I learned this, my wide shots became more interesting and my tight shots became more steady. An enjoyable video overall, thanks for sharing it!
