Default How to create day dream effect

    Hello,

Can anybody help me to create a "daydream" effect. I've found the ripple effect but I'm not sure how to animate it so the ripple is moving rathere than just distoring the image.

    Many thanks,
    Robin

If you've discovered the answer why not share it with us. It might help someone else.

Alan. He wants to animate it. I havn't got premier on this computer but im guessing that key frames would animate it.

Luke, there's a deleted post by the original poster with a reason for deletion of discovered the answer'.

I just thought that if he's found the answer now he could be polite and tell us all.

    Default day dreaming

hi .... sorry been away so just caught up on this post. I'm afraid I didn't come up with any mind blowing solutions. Just made do with a bit of keyframed ripple and blur.

    thanks

You mention that you "just made do with". If your not quite happy with what you have you could try multi layering the video with the ripple, a second layer with low opacity above the original.

Perhaps even another above that with lower opacity.

Knock the time synch out a bit and you could have an interesting effect, perhaps even less blur on the lower opacity clip or clips.

    It might look good.

open the properties for the ripple effect and slide the RATE slider up to change the speed of the ripple.
