Default How to split one video into segmented files

I am using Ulead VideoStudio 10 and i need to know how to save individual video files for each clip i cut out of the original video file. I am edititing 2 hr home videos captured from VHS. I already multi-trimmed the footage into about 30 seperate segments and now i need to save them all as individual video files.

If anyone knows how to do this on another type of software, i would be open to that advice as well.

thanks, Any help is very much appreciated.

    Use this:

    Welcome to virtualdub.org! - virtualdub.org

It's free (donations accepted) and in my opinion for edting and features it reigns supreme. It opens AVI & MPEG. It will capture AVI as well. I reccommend the "Release build -- 1.6.17 (stable), 32-bit version" (for 32 bit systems of course) but a 64 bit one is available. There is even a support forum. It wiil save "segmented videos" (that is a very useful feature of this program) and then put all the segments back together in one AVI file for you. You choose the type of video & audio compression you desire (within certain limits). As stated prior you are limited to AVI as the output container.
