Default Easiest split screen and splicing software

    Hi

I need to buy some software for a colleague who is basically going to splice 2 AVis from 2 camcorders and merge parts of them in a split screen style - Dallas style I suppose

Anyway, I am looking for the easiest and possibly cheapest software also so we can get approvals that can do the split screen and splicing.

We are looking at getting JVC MG505 for taking both the video as it has separate mic inputs.

    Any advice appreciated.

    Scott

I'm just going to assume you're using a windows pc, because it tends to only be Mac or Linux users who actually state what opperating system they use.

So i'm not going to advise you at all, because.... I don't know of the easiest/cheapest software for windows.

Feel free to correct me if i'm wrong...
