Thread: Moving a video clip (chroma) in time with a background

  1. Default Moving a video clip (chroma) in time with a background

Hopefully I can explain this well enough,

I have a cartoon that I use as a background, and in that cartoon there is an object that moves right to left.

I've chroma keyed an object which I've imported and used track motion to shrink its size and place it at the very beginning where the cartoon object is in the right handside. (hopefully you are still with me)

Now when the cartoon background and this cartoon object moves right to left, is there anyway that I can get the shrunk down chroma keyed object to move with it?

    Thanks all

You can do this but there is no function in vegas to do it automatically.

You will need to keyframe its pan/crop position every frame. Probably not EVERy froam but put in enough keyframes tso that it matches the motion of the BG.
