Thread: Extracting sections from movie

  1. Smile Extracting sections from movie

    Hi,

I have 2 dvd's which contain my kids concerts.

I have extracted the VOB files to my pc but then premiere pro 2 does not
    like VOB files.

Can someone tell me how I edit the VOB files so I can just extract the 5 minutes
    of movie that I need.

    Cheers

    Frank

This does not work all the time but its worth a go - Try renaming the extensions from ".vob" to ".mpg"

There is a nice little program out there called winavi. It converts vob wmv avi etc into each other and convert them for recopying on to dvd. It's quite neat.
