    Default Encore- Video in menus

    Hello,

Cant seem to find the answer to this problem anywhere but hopefully some one will be able to help!!?

I'm creating menus in Encore and I want a short video clip to loop in behind the menu while it is on screen (like seen in many bought DVDs).
I have managed to get the video playing when the menu is previewed but stops everytime I add something else to the menu, eg. text or graphic

How can I keep it looping behind?

    Thanks,

    Michael.

I've done a couple fo still menus. Not tried any animated ones so just guessing ata work around but...

if adding text over the top stops the animation then include the text inside the animation sequence, render that and use that as the background.

I think it needs to be separate to achieve what I am looking for. I know it is possible but not sure how.

    Thanks,

answered my own question - You must select "render motion menus" from the file menu before the video will play in preview.
