Encoding For YouTube with Vegas

Video is a little old but WMV is the best format to upload in...really? Can anyone confirm that? I always thought the native youtube format was .MP4 and the best to upload in, although i have noticed .MP4 takes a LOT longer to process than WMV, he also mentions 1mbps, shouldnt you render your video in the mbps it was captured in, for best quality? Mine are usually captured in 13.5mbps although this is much easier to implement if saving as my preferable format (Main Concept AVC/AAC .MP4), i leave the audio as it is

.wmv can give a good result with both quality and file size for YouTube. I think a lot of this type of discussion is down to personal taste and familiarity with certain formats.
