    Default Audio rate

Hi!! i'm new here, and i have a little problem with premiere,
i was trying to sample some footage for vjing, from a beach party movie a friend of mine gave me.
and when i try to import the footage to premiere he didn't loaded it and said "unsupported audio rate in file"

why did this happened and how can i solve this?

thanks for your time and attention!

Firstly get the orignal footage from the camera if posible. Import it through your firewire card using premiere pro to capture the footage.
If the tape/camera are unavailable then you need to convert the footage to an uncompressed avi file. Premiere can recognise alot of compressed file formats but i have found uncompressed avi the best. But the first option will give you the best audio and visual quality.
