    LENOVO W530

I am not too knowledgeable about technology.

Please let me know if you see any problems with this computer.

I know it’s it the most expensive but my budget is only for $1000.

Lenovo is telling me this is made for imaging specifically. That the graphicsetc are powerful enough that it is considered a mobile workstation.

I am just a novice. Isthe 320GB hard drive big enough to start with?

Later I can add an external harddrive or the dvd player in this one canbe swapped out for a second harddrive.

Same processor as my current laptop, I have 2gb NVIDIA, and it's made by ASUS. Same RAM too.

I am enjoying my editing now, although if I multi-layer and add effects, (I'm a hog), I'm getting up to 6x render time. But then after 4 hours of adding that many fx, it's no problem having a half hour break.

One trick - mine has onboard graphics as well, make sure you configure your editing software to use the NVIDIA, otherwise it will default to the onboard card.
