    Default Advice please Premiere 6.00

    Premiere 6.00
I have just completed a project and have 3 minidv tapes I have edited from.

I thought I would use them again .
Do you suggest I record over them blind before I do or just record straight over the top of existing copy.

Also a silly question ,when completing my project I noticed on capturing video occassional clips were captured with dropped frames. This did`nt seem to cause much problem but I wondered where the problem came from , software, camera or computer hardware.
    Thank you
    Mick

I fit into the group of people who are of the mind that it is best to simply use a new tape and not reuse the original in case you ever need it again.

Once in a while I dig out an old tape to reuse some footage on it or to re-open an old project for tweaking and need to recapture footage.
