Default I managed to burn my VCD..but now when playing

    it seems to have degraded...

The first time I played it it was great...second time it had a few skips, third time was unwatchable... have i done something wrong??

I used nero and burned a vcd.

this was my first time trying and I appreciate your patience with my question.

    TIA

What speed did you burn the VCD at. It may help if you try burning at a lower speed.

Default Thank you for the suggestion

I burned the VCD using the slowest speed, sorry I don't remember what that was... I was worried that the burn would fail... also I used the overwrite feature because the movie was Just a tad too long but all it would cut out was the part of the credits... also now that I think of it both VCD's that I burned said failed at the very very last bit... over 99% done. At the time I assumed it was because of the overwrite... would that have made a difference do you think?

    Thanks agaiN!

Sorry, I was a bit blurry eyed when I responded to your initial post! I find it bizzare that it worked perfectly first time, then got progressively worse with each play.

Use TMPGenc to cut off a few seconds of your video so that it fits on one CD http://www.marcpeters.co.uk/tmpgenctools.html
