    Default Rendering size problem

Hello again. Everytime I render a movie, the file always is so huge and I have to keep importing it into Windows Movie maker and have to resave it there, which then loses some of the video quality. I dont know why when I render my movies the file comes out so big, when its actually a short film.

Any help would be much appreciated.

What type of file you output to will decide how big (or small) the file is. If you render as AVI, it will be huge as it's uncompressed. If you do it as an .mpg (for DVD) it will be smaller and if you do it as a wmv it will be smaller again. Try different formats until you find what's right for you.
