    Default Compressing with Virtual Dub

Ok i have completed a CS movie, and have rendered it uncompressed. I now want to keep the quality HIGH but have the space used LOW. People have told me that Virtual Dub works well, and I have been fooling around with it for a while now. I have the DivX codec but im unsure how to Compress it. Im using the newest version out. Anyone good with VDub and could help me out?

Uncompressed is HUGE. I suggest you render a 'best' copy to keep safe as a DV file, should be about one seventh the size I think.

Any further compression cant go too far without quality loss.

Do you want to make it more 'portable' for other devices or web use? Best compression to use depends on what you want to do with the file.

    What are you after ?
