Default Windows Movie Make-removing audio from inported clip?!?

I'm quite dissapointed that WMM doesn't let me remove the audio from imported clips so that the audio I add to it in the timeline canbe the only audio heard in the final project.
I searched teh help menue on WMM and the web and didn't find a way to do this.
Does anone know if this is even possible?
I imagine it should, but not sure.
    thank you

You can right click on the audio track and mute it. At least you can in version 2.0 which is a free upgrade from Microsoft.
