Default Camcorder LCD screens useless in bright sunlight

Hi, I do a lot of filming in snow covered mountains, and I find the built in lcd screens are useless in bright conditions, you just cannot see anything. Can anybody suggest a camera which does not suffer from this problem or a small high contrast monitor which is viewable in these conditions.

have you tried using an lcd screen cover? or using the eye piece?

Thanks for the reply.I haven't used a screen cover. but what I am realy after is an LCD screen that plugs into the AV socket, or a camera with a screen that folds flush into the body which is viewable in bright sun and snow conditions, using a cover or the viewfinder would not be practical for my normal usage.

i think i see.. would it be used as you are skiing or something?
im not sure you will get any lcd monitors that will work well in bright sun light or snow.
